We built the tool
we wished existed.

nameaha started from a frustrating afternoon: product direction, no name, and a night lost to ChatGPT ideas that were already taken.

The Story

Naming is a search problem, not a creative problem.

Most founders approach naming like writers staring at a blank page. That's the wrong metaphor. It's not about inspiration arriving — it's about narrowing a search space with the right constraints until something fits.

The problem with every existing tool is that they either don't check domain availability (so you fall in love with a name that's taken), or they're expensive human-powered services that take days when you need hours.

We built Nameaha to bridge both gaps: AI-powered, domain-aware, and fast enough to fit in a single working session. The"aha" in our name is exactly what we're optimizing for — that moment when a name clicks.

What we believe

🎯

Domain-first thinking

Availability is the primary filter, not an afterthought. A perfect name with a bad domain is a bad name.

Speed is a feature

Founders are time-poor. A tool that takes days isn't helping — it's adding to the pile. We stream results.

🧭

Direction over generation

Random generation is noise. We preserve the semantic direction of your idea and refine it.

Aligned incentives

We earn commissions when you register through our links. Our economic interest is your success.

🛠

Built for builders

The UX is opinionated toward technical founders. Terminal-style streaming, monospace hits, zero fluff.

📖

Honest transparency

We explain how Nameaha works and compare ourselves honestly against every competitor. No dark patterns.

We're building in public.

The codebase is open on GitHub. Follow development, file issues, or just poke around. We welcome contributions from the technical community.
